Then created a layer mask and feathered the deletion by 75 pixels and deleted the darker layer in its entirity (feathering keeps the detail in the mountains and foreground). then readded your frame.
Just a thought...

(4885) [2006-08-13 07:02:43] [2] | I have had a play with the colur saturation, hue and brightness of the picture, then editted the blue range of the colours adn increased their intensity and saturation as well.
But I can't do anythign with the overexposed clouds, they are too far gone unfortuantly.
