Correction of the dominance color | CeltickRanger
(7623) [2008-02-16 08:35:10] [2] | hello Ivan
in your image their is a dominance of the blue tones,
i love to do my colours corrections with LEVELS,
but lately i was playing in Photoshop and i discovered
a new way to do color corrections
- you go in IMAGE
- and choose MATCH COLOR
- it is to match your image's color with another photo's colors
- in this case you don't ga Match
- in Match Color you let
LUMINANCE at 100
COLOR INTENSITY at 100
FADE to 0
- you are not matching a color
- to do your correction you just clic to NEUTRALIZE
and something magic happen, the image received
a color correction, with that operation that takes
only few minutes there is no more blue dominance
BUT ATTENTION, but sometimes the correction
is not well done, and is PREFERABLE to go with LEVELS
thanks i hope you liked the Workshop
amitiés

correction of the neutral tones | CeltickRanger
(7623) [2008-02-04 09:21:11] [4] | hello Ivan
looking at your image's colour composition i came
to the analyse that the tones are too neutral, maybe in this
composition the colours are good but i permitted myself
to do a woorkshop to correct the neutral tones
i did the correction with Levels
one of my favorite tools of Photoshop
- my white points (highlights) are already set at 5% of dot,
to set it at 5% of dot, you click on the white points pipet
and then you go for
H 0%
S 0%
B 95%
- my balck points (shadows) are already set at 95% of dot,
to set it at 95% of dot, you click on the balck points pipet
and then you go for
H 0%
S 0%
B 5%
you do save, and with this you can do many colours correction
of dominant colours or colours too neutral
to dit it, i just tell Photoshop to do a Auto levels
but for your image, i wanted the bird's colours tones
exactly (or allmost) like yours
si i did another operation, so i went for the tool EXPOSURE
and i played with the Gamma to darken a little bit the bird
i hope you liked my Workshop
merci
