| Intro: | Hi , I enjoy the quiet life in small town High River, Alberta, Canada. As a learning hobby photographer , I take pictures of nature , and landscapes , I particularly enjoy sunrise and sunset, birds , flowers and insects , and any wildlife I am lucky enough to happen across. I have only just begun learning about photography , but have taken quite a few pictures in the last few years. I am glad to have been referred to a site where I can share some of my favorites. -well a hundred and some pictures later I have decide to join the TrekLens site to see if I can make a start at expanding my photography , looks like a good place to learn also. -after a long but mild winter I am getting ready to resume my postings on TrekNature , and TrekLens , happily I will be posting for the conclusion of my first year here with a small camera upgrade :-) some events here early in 2009 have lead me to question my participation on the trek sites , comments of overly flattering critiquing with too little criticism and too much friendly congratulation. after a bit of thought on the subject , I decided , 'so what!' the site is as it is take it or leave it.... so I decided to take it , why let overly critical people spoil what I have so far found to be a fun site. I don't think that most people here take it oh so seriously so why should I ;-) that said , if you see room for improvement on my photos , then by all means feel free to point it out , maybe do a workshop , I would be grateful for it , and I will endeavor to let the same ethic guide my critiquing.... regards Art | |
