This is just to show how close one can get to pronghorn on occasion. It also illustrates that Oregon is not all lush, green northwest rain forest. Most of Oregon is high desert.
The owl was at the far end of the barn, way at the top. S/he was difficult to see but that 2.8 lens worked beautifully. The posted shot was taken with a tripod but the hand held/braced shots looked good too. We love stabilized lenses!
I took a bit of a pano crop with the intention of providing a bit of fg -- in this case the round rock. There seemed to be a bit of noise in the sky, so I ran it through Noiseware, too.
