(1123) [2008-02-21 02:21:52] [2] | I hope the ws speaks for itself...
You can't open these windows, you can't see thorugh them, they just look great... Huge cathedrals were decorated with windows of no use. And they are all a piece of art, just like yours...
I didn't take this picture, I simply downloaded it from the internet just for demonstration use (and hope it's not a problem to do so). I didn't choose a famous one, just the most simle one I found, to show what type of window I'm talking about. By the way I don't know the English word for it :)
Best regards,

(812) [2007-11-25 04:09:44] [1] | | Hi Markus! The photo stands well on its own accord, just as it is! It is the message in this photo that makes it so strong, and no processing or technical mumbo jumbo is at all neccesary. But..since I had photoshop open already, I thought I would just experiment a little with it to get more contrast - and used curves to darken the darks and lighten the bright parts. Just to get the heart even more attention :) |

(12330) [2007-10-19 11:30:16] [1] | | I cropped a bit off of both sides. I wanted the bulk of the little island to be in the one third position. I also added a bit of contrast/levels and sharpened. I feel there is a bit more unity to the composition now. I like how the forward trees and their reflections tie to the little sunlit chalet. I think it keeps the viewer's eye in the frame; moving around exploring the scene. |
