| Intro: | Hi everyone, I'm an amateur nature photographer from Brisbane in South East Queensland, Australia. My partner introduced me to this site and what I have seen so far has just inspired me to get out there and share some Australian landscapes and biodiversity with you. Australia is home to some incredible places as you may know. Northern Australia in particular has one of the most intact landscapes on the planet and as a result, we have special places of international conservation significance like Cape York Peninsula, Kakadu, The Daintree & Wet Tropics and of course the Great Barrier Reef. This is my first SLR, a Canon EOS 400D, and its very exciting for me. It seems like its been forever that I have wanted an SLR and now that I have one I can't seem to put it down. Whilst im an amateur photographer, Im a professional nature lover and conservationist. Nature has been my passion since growing up in one of the most incredibly beautiful places on Earth - Papua New Guinea (if your an avid bird watcher like me, you must visit PNG sometime in your life). Anyway, enough of my waffling. I look forward to sharing some photos from around Australia with you and I hope you enjoy them, I certainly will have enjoyed taking them :o) Any and all critiques, feedback and advice are encouraged and extremely welcome.
