Using Photoshop I used filter::sharpen a little bit. I don't know if it made a difference.

I just learned how to do frames with my program. I hope you like my result, not nearly as nice as yours but it was fun playing around with it. It made me appreciate how much work you did with yours from the original version. Thanks for posting it so we all could give it a try too!

I cropped the top rocks and sharpened this a bit, hopefully not too much, I'm still learning how much is too much. My 8 y/o daughter likes your version better.

Thought I'd post my original shot, with the terrible glass reflections/haze.... I was very pleasantly surprised with how I could rescue this shot with some time spent with Photoshop! I used dodge and burn tools, saturated, adjusted levels, cropped, and USM. It was great practice for me, and I'm pleased with results - try it if you'd like!
