 Curves and Filter | bobair
(4268) [2008-03-24 19:23:04] [1] | Hi Lori,
I used the cym curve and pushed up slightly on it and then applied a yellow filter effect to give some warmth. It is only my take on your photo but I hope you like it.I used the free Paint.Net for the PP and the add on plug ins for this program. Bob |

(12501) [2007-09-16 20:30:52] [2] | | Of course cropping an already small TN photo results in low resolution but I wanted to try an alternate crop. I cropped some off the top, bottom and right side. I think one is drawn easier deep into the scene without the right side trees. I like the foreground a bit better with elements a little larger. One would have to crop the full sized image in order to maintain enough resolution and sharpness. |

 Irfanview | LordPotty
(8374) [2007-08-18 15:38:36] [3] | Using Irfanview,I have reduced the blue factor,and a wee bit of green.
Then I've bumped up the saturation a smidgin.
Then I've reduced the gammma correction, cropped and sharpened.
I hope you like it.
Cheers,Steve |

 Tuning ... | Shoot_Score
(2364) [2007-06-23 01:29:17] [1] [+] | a) did a small crop to remove the "blue" in the top and the "green" along the right, balancing the flowers on the "canvas",
b) did some colour tuning to try and bring out the variety in the paintbrushes.
Let me know what you think... |

crop, hue-sat, levels, contrast | diverjohn
(620) [2007-05-03 20:52:13] [2] | I cropped closer to the flower, then used hue-saturation to darken the yellow and green, followed by a slight LEVELS bump and ended with a boost in contrast.
Result: the blue flower seems to pop out of the frame. |

(4672) [2007-04-15 12:46:34] [1] | Like I mentioned in my critique I've "tried" to restore the focus in the B/G and the front petal.
Also I've "brightened" the flower a tad.
Lori, am a mere old man who knows very little about this great hobby of ours. Have learnt a lot with fellow TN participants during this last year.
Like I said, if you do not like this W/S, I shall delete it.
Best regards,
Mario |
