(12035) [2007-09-23 03:13:11] [3] | Using Irfanview I have treated each photo seperately.
First I isolated the top image and reduced the blue by about 60. Then lowered gamma correction, increased contrast and saturation then sharpened.
I repeated the process with the lower picture, but only lowered the blue by about 6.
Hope you like it.

(12035) [2007-08-15 07:18:03] [2] | Well,heres my two cents worth ;)
Using Irfanview I reduced the blue to about -24
then bumped up the colour saturation and contrast a little (about +8 each)
Reduced the brightness a fraction, and Bobs yer uncle.
It took abot 10 seconds :)
I don't know that its as good as the others.
The water isn't quite as blue, but then it possibly wasn't anyway ?
Its just another way of doing it if you can't afford photoshop. Irfanview is free to download and easy to use.
Actually,I've just got photoshop, but its a bit complex for me at this stage. I think I need a few lessons to get the hang of it.
I'm a bit of a simpleton, LOL

(12035) [2007-07-07 08:28:08] [1] | Hi Kathy,
Using Irfanview, a very simple (and free to download) editing program, I have reduced the blue to -44
Then I have icreased the colour saturation (+8) then reduced gamma correction and cropped and sharpened.
I hope you like the result, and get some idea of what you can do in post processing.

(12035) [2007-07-03 09:18:17] [1] | Hi John.
Using Irfanview,a very compact viewing/editing freeware thingy,I have reduced the blue/UV factor in the image, reduced gamma correction and sharpened (not too much I hope)
As you can see, some of the original colour and detail is restored by these very simple steps.
They can be applied to most bright shots with varying degrees of success.
Hope you find this helpful.
