I've whacked the old blue back a bit,
bumped up the colour, turned the lights down
... and Bobs yer uncle!
... yeah, I know ... it looks a bit noisy, but,
oh well ... she'll be right.
Cheers, Bruce (Steve/Bruce) |

I have reduced the blue to -44 (in Irfanview/enhance colours) and have reduced the gamma correction to 90 then cropped and sharpened.
Hope you like it.

Hope you like it.

(12035) [2007-06-08 05:37:16] [1] | I was working on this while Harry posted his,but its slightly different so I've posted it anyway.
You can see I've cropped in a similar way, but instead of sharpening, I have reduced the UV glare a little by lowering the blue levels.
This also helps to restore some clarity without extra background noise.
Hope you like it.

(12035) [2007-06-08 05:29:28] [1] | I have reduced only the blue factor (-44) using Irfanview.
As you can see,it has reduced the UV glare and restored clarity and original colour (I hope). It may be a bit too yellow though, I'm not sure.
Hope you like it.

(12035) [2007-05-31 08:06:40] | Hi Russell.
In Irfanview (enhance colours) I have done the following:
1. Colour saturation +8
2. Blue -8 (filter UV)
3. Gamma correction to 77
Hope you like the result.

(12035) [2007-05-20 03:21:44] [2] [+] | Using Irfanview I've done these steps:
1. Click on 'Image' then 'Enhance Colours'
Reduce 'Gamma Correction' (like brightness) to about 81
2. Reduce blue colour (to about -24 to cancel out UV glare)
3. Resize image (I've used 'width 500 pizels with the thingy set to maintain the same proportions ... so you don't need to calculate the height)
(Sometimes you need to sharpen the image, but not in this case)
Hope you don't mind me mucking about with your picture, and hope this has been some help.
Cheers, Steve |
