 Clive's changes | fungiman
(1005) [2008-06-24 22:18:23] [2] | Here is my improvement to this fungi
1- Removed back ground fungi
2- removed a lot of the red from the image so the ground now looks more natural
3- removed many of the jpg artifacts this image had ever had the compression set two high, saved as a jpg too many time or been sharpened after been saved already as a jpg.
4- removed some of the dirt from the fungi and repared some of the damage to the stipe
Cheers Clive |

Altered Levels & Cropped | elizabeth
(10) [2008-06-17 19:04:02] [2] [+] | Hi Steve
Further to my critique earlier, I have had a play and adjusted the levels to give you an idea how it would look should you wish to brighten up the toadstool a bit. Also cropped top and sides a little to see how a tighter composition would look. Just a couple of thoughts.
Cheers

(2407) [2008-06-13 06:17:25] [1] | In photoshop:
- cropped
- shadow/highlight- to remove dark shadows
- clone stamp tool to remove the white areas in top-left
- smart sharpen to add some details
- contrast +5
- simple frame
Hope You like my proposition.
cheers!

 Cropped & Shadows/Highlights Altered | elizabeth
(10) [2008-06-12 13:45:03] [2] | Hi Steve
I have cropped off the white area in the top left corner and about half the dark area at the bottom. Then used the Shadow/Highlights correction to correct the burnt out area at the top of the tallest fungus and reduce the hard shadows in the image as per my comment. Hope you find it useful. I forgot to embed the sRGB colour space so hope the colour still looks OK.
Cheers
