| Intro: | I am a mother of 4 grown up children and now 2 grandchildren and my only passion in life is photography. I am not from Pretoria ( in the north) as they say beneath my photo, I am from Cape Town, South Africa ( the second most lowest point of Africa) and I think it is almost if not, the most beautiful place in the world. Pretoria (1460km from Cape Town) is the capitol city of S.A. but Cape Town is the Mother City. This is where everything started in 1652 when Jan van Riebeeck came to this land. I am Afrikaans speaking but I will try my best with English. I never had the opportunity to travel a lot so the places where I could use my camera is very limited. I am not at all a professional photographer but since my daughter Ronel gave me my digital camera about two years ago, I took about 30,000 plus photos. Anything that crossed my path end up as a photo and as my children said, they all have arc eyes now. | |
