Cloned out the twig over on the right side that was distracting the eye and the end of the twig under him that had a bright end.
As always, individual preference. Its just such a beautiful image of the Nuthatch that deserves all the attention and the twig was taking some of that attention away.

(2837) [2007-08-07 23:10:28] [1] | Hi Pat, in this workshop I was mainly looking to straighten the background, and touch up the noise in this background. The bird was fine as is. To do this I rotated with the measure tool in PS and cropped to a 12x8 format. I of course lost a significant part of the shot with the crop, I kept what I could. I then selected the area away from the bird and reduced noise. To further this process I added an overlay layer, and with a 5% opacity white brush I lightened the sky and water a little. To complete the job and bring it back up to size, I added a simple white frame back to the shot, and added your moniker (copied from the original) at the bottom. I hope this meets with your approval. I have removed the copy from my terminal.
