(2356) [2008-08-04 23:34:43] | Here is waht I would suggest < and demo herewith >:
1) do a bit more of 1/3 , 1/3 , 1/3... by removing some of the lower water.
2) wee sharpening
3) adjust colour and contrast
4) wee saturation...
What say you?
Thanx for providing such a great subject! |

 How not to... | Shoot_Score
(2356) [2008-07-25 23:28:35] [1] | I just wanted to show that
a) leveling the wire doesn't help at all in the dynamics here
b) that the strands are not parallel in the first place...
SO THIS is an example of what NOT TO DO!
What say U? |

 Zoom et al | Shoot_Score
(2356) [2008-07-25 22:30:22] [1] | As you can see I would use the very nice capture you have here to zoom in...
I did this by
a) rotation to portrait style
b) some additional zoom in by way of rotation...
untill the "division" of the heartshaped snake was on the diagonal from UL to LR...
A wee sharpening, contrast adhustment finished of yer fine - from a distance- shot!
Hope U like!

 Zoom plus | Shoot_Score
(2356) [2008-01-04 21:08:58] [3] | I'm thinking we can increase the drama here by taking the following steps:
1) rotate
2) crop part of skink
3) scale up by 25%
4) wee sharpening
5) colour and contrast
We now see the sky reflected in almost all four of the spider's eyes!
Hope you like! |

 Sharpen et al | Shoot_Score
(2356) [2008-01-04 18:54:54] [1] | I think the photo will bring the point across a wee more with:
a) sharpening
b) a crop to off-centre the dead-centre dead eye,
and placing the turtle on more of a diagonal...
What say you?

PP in PPP for RP | Shoot_Score
(2356) [2007-10-06 10:32:49] [1] | PostProcess in Police Point Park... ;)
OK Mr. RP I like your shot a lot... been staring at it a while too... and finally found time to do an alternative.
You captured a splendid specimen, in a splendid way...
In my own "Less is More" mode I would have to say that I feel that the beauty of this finch is iterally somewhat obscured - in the presentation - by the large volume of wood...
So I tried a different crop to see if we can "highlight" the bird ;)
Other steps performed < apart from afore [ a) ]mentioned crop >
b) small adjustment to light and contrast < both >
c) wee colour adjustment
Of course all steps taken in my favorite PP=P2
"PostProcessing=Picasa2"
What say you?

(2356) [2007-10-06 09:59:45] | Bob I think I see a lil bit of a colour hue on this shot... I tried to make it a it "crisper"
as follows :
a) wee adjustment to contrast and light
b) colour adjustment
< now check for example the wee leaf against the aspen bark on the left edge >
Hope you like, ;j.
PS All PP done in PICASA2; no other tools employed. |

(2356) [2007-09-30 22:21:13] [6] | One program which I like a lot is PICASA2!
Here I used it to
a) adjust lighting and colour
and then
b) crop
I feel we can get rid of some of the OoF F/G.
Also didn't want to oversharpen this very nice capture. After all the fir on these weasels is very very soft and not at all spikey!
Hope you like!
