 Another Software Package | Shoot_Score
(2370) [2007-05-01 02:53:21] [2] | I liked the workshop that was doe by Loot...
and wanted to see if I could come reasonably close with another software package. Loot used Adobe Elements... < it has a pricetag > I'm using free software.
Here are the steps used
a) adjust light and colour
b) saturation
c) crop...

 Alternate Presentation | Shoot_Score
(2370) [2007-04-29 16:50:20] [2] | Composition-wise I prefer a different presentation.
The balance between the bird and the post can be changed putting the emphasis on the bird.
< by also removing the distracting knots; they are nice, but divert attention >.
Then I tried to use a diagonal line from LL to UR... to position the bird, keeping in mind the thirds rule as well.
The b/g doesn't bother me, I prefer it to overly PPed stuff...
Hope you like, Jay |

 Balancing Act... | Shoot_Score
(2370) [2007-04-28 16:31:28] [3] [+] | The wee bird looked like it was about to fall off;
so I rotated the photo slightly while zooming in .
It removes the white strip in the rock en passant.
Hope you like.

This also zooms the photo somewhat, while maintaining thirds rule.
