(6403) [2005-03-20 17:34:27] | Hi
I tried to improve a little bit the picture.
First, I played with the levels to try and soften the flash light.
Second, I cropped the right side, sorry about your signature, because of the blured 'thing' over there, and third I did something that I am not doing to my picture, but it was worth trying, I fixed the ey that was very affected by the flash.
I hope you will like it. |

 Enhancing shadow detail | AdrianW
(710) [2004-11-07 17:02:21] [1] | I used a variation of the Contrast Masking technique to bring out a little more shadow detail on this shot.
Basically we'll do it twice, but with two different blur values to reduce the appearance of a halo, so:
NewLayerViaCopy, Desaturate, Invert. NewLayerViaCopy. Turn off the middle layer. Blur/Gaussian, merge mode Overlay @ 65% on the top layer. Merge Visible. Now turn on the layer, and set merge Overlay @ 30%.
That's it, I hope you like it :) |
