|Intro:||Freelance photographer with a day job in Silicon Valley. Originally from Finland, I have been living in Sweden, British Columbia, New Hampshire, Texas and California.|
I started with black and white negative film and my own darkroom about forty years ago, and transfered to digital SLR when the Olympus E-10 came on the market.
My present camera is a Canon 1D Mark III, replacing a well used Canon 20D. I am right now focused on nature, landscape and wildlife photography. I print my own pictures on a Canon iPF5000 printer that takes 17 inch wide roll paper. This is a great printer and it allows me to print my high resolution panoramic prints that often consist of up to 20 frames or more. Landscape pictures need to be printed in large format, and high resolution is important.
If you enjoy my pictures please also visit my nature photography pages at pbase where you may find more pictures of the same type.
And I am starting my own gallery:
This Beautiful Earth should soon be up and running...check out http://www.thisbeautifulearth.com/gallery2/index.htm
Until end of August I had a picture exhibit at
Don Edwards San Francisco Bay Wildlife Refuge
During the last winter, I had the honor of having one of my Willie Nelson portraits on display (from September 2006 to March 2007) at
George Bush Presidential Library and Museum
