| Intro: | I am a landscape photographer who fulfills his enjoyment of the outdoors by capturing scenes and moments that are both fleeting and elusive. I like to capture scenes at the extremes of the day where the results are most dramatic and variable, and the light is at its most beautiful. I am particularly drawn to water scenes and is fascinated by the ever-changing skies. I find landscape photography was a very satisfying activity, giving me a wider experience of the natural world. I am attracted to the art of landscape photography like a moth to a light, and look forward to those magical moments when a beautiful scene unfolds in front of me. My photography is documentary and representational in nature in that I try to present a scene as it appears in reality, as viewed by me through the lens. My work has been referred to as 'reserved and serene' in style and is known for its natural yet vibrant colours. I Display my work at AndrewFyfe.com and is about to exhibit some pieces at the Basement Gallery in Ipswich. I started photography in Feb 2004. | |
