Hi Nicole,
in this workshop I have attempted to show you what I mean in my review note.The dark green area I have added to scale up the proportions of the photo and I have placed the fern head more or less on the intersection of a third over and down from the top and left hand side.Next I lassoed the background and blurred it some more for the effect of a more open lens and then I sharpen the results and uploaded to the workshop.I hope you like the result. Colour saturation

Hi Rick,I did this quick edit to show a little more colour by boosting the saturation a little and then I sharpened to image for upload to the workshop.I hope you like this modification as this photo is such an unusual one and I tried in my humble way to compliment it with a little PP using Paint.Net. Contrast,colour sat,sharpening

This is the unmodified pre-PP photo of the bald eagle.I brighten up the image,boosted the colour saturation slightly and applied sharpening for the result you see first.The program used was Paint.Net a free to download windows based software that has many useful features.It is easy to use and is my favorite freebie.This software does most things reasonably well and I'm too cheap to spend money on Photo editors.
