(12764) [2008-03-27 15:20:23] [2] | Used shadows and highlights to try to control washed parts.
Also use the underexpose tool with the burnt mushroom of the right.
Then I selected the two fungi at the left and used unsharpen mask 0.3 200%
At last I selected only the one at the left and use unsarpen mask again 0.3 200%, and saved to web. |

(3860) [2008-01-09 20:39:47] [2] | Hi Bucari, I have had a bit of a play with this image in Lightroom 1.3 to reduce the overall exposure, by adjusting the following;
In Tone:- Exposure -1.43, Recovery 38, Fill Light 37, Blacks 31, Contrast +4
In Presence:- Clarity 12, Vibrance -10,
Tone Curve:- Highlights -36, Lights -17, Darks -10, Shadows -5. |

(13511) [2006-01-07 18:57:21] [1] | | I wanted to put the focus on the eggs and away from the bright green leaves that attract the eye. I like to isolate and emphasize the subject by eliminating everything that is non essential. Of course a lot of that depends on your purpose for taking the picture; art, science, or both. Sometimes when I crop an object like part of the nest I like to put a frame as a sort of window. It sort of gives the illusion that the rest of the nest is just beyond the frame and tends to draw the viewer into the picture. |
