As per my commentary, I have tried to sharpen the bird more by using Unsharp Mask filter in Photoshop CS. The settings were: Amount 274% - Radius 0,3 pixels - Threshold 0 level

I took some yellow out of the feathers and added a bit of contrast.
This is a very good in flight.
