Hi Donna,

Here i used the photo filters in PS, there i selected the warming filter 81 and adjusted the slider to 53% to get the frost in the shade to a grey tone rather than blue.

I hope you like it and I hope you don't mind.

I think comparing these two images is better done full size than with the thumbnails. I wanted to crop out the second area of OE sky so that it didn't draw attention away from the part of the scene that I feel is truly wonderful...the light reflecting on the blue water. Just a personal opinion and another option. : )

Hi Donna,

Here an actual image on st lawrence to give you an impression of the ais program,its 100% actual and give further theais input like course ,speed and destination etc when you click on the ship (red dots) where you want the information of.

Hope it is all visible in the WS upload,maybe you knew already existance of this program,if you need more information please let me know,

Burning, dodging, levels

I just tried a few tweaks on you picture. I adjusted levels in the sky to get the colours out better, then adjusted levels on the river to get it a bit brighter. I also dodged the dark parts of the treeline a bit to make the texture show more, and burned the clouds some to get the contrast in.
I dont know what you think - it was just a little experiment to fill my time :)
