Hi there :)

I loved the shot, but was curios to see what it looks like with a different crop. I cropped a bit from the left to move the eye more off-centre. I then cropped on the right to add some more space in front of him. Added a white border with a green line, and this is the result. Please dont take offence ;) It also seem to lighten it up a bit i guess. What do you think ?

Hi there :)

After reading Mike's critique, i thought i will give it a try.

In Photoshop Elements 2 :

Created a new layer

cut the body of the bird from the second, and created a new layer with that. ** Total of 3 layers **

I then added a Gausian blur (12,6) to the background on the second layer

Hi there,

I cloned the background a bit on the left, it is not the best cloning job, but it shows what can be done, I then cropped outside the border on the left to add the frame, and fixed the frame on the top and bottom.

after reading your note about no space infront, I tried this workshop. All i did was crop outside the border on the right, and cloned the background. It was a 5 min job, so it is far from perfect, I was just curious to see what it looked like.

I love your photo, they are very cute.

Here is what i did.

Cropped the top of your picture, and fixed the border
Dropped the saturation to -100 to make it a BW.

I am no expert at all, But it looked like a fun picture to play with. Hope you like it.
