(1503) [2005-12-13 08:14:05] [3] | I just recropped picture since to me it look like an airplane ready to take off on its track. I also repair some dent on the fern leaf so it look more healthy.
I hope you like the result.

(8915) [2005-11-21 13:49:55] [1] | Hi Gert,
In CS2,
I applied some of my homework, opened image and converted to RGB, desaturated the yellows and fixed the line behind the far wing, I made less noticeable.
I think you work in SRGB, so, the image as far as the color will be different, that's not what I was after, it was the line behind and over the far wing.

 Blur and Darken | slrnovice2
(1197) [2005-08-05 15:55:26] [3] | | Hi Gert, I really played around here more than I usually do and it may not be to people's taste and I hope you don't mind it but I do find these workshops help me think more about experimenting more than I'd usually do. This time I used gaussian blur on the background, starting close to the dragonfly and then widening out, each time at 5% radius so as not to create a stark line between the selected part of the image and the unselected part. I also darkened and diminished the contrast by 10 with each selection and then ran the history brush over the edges of the selected areas at 100 radius and 1 strength, once again so as to blur the distinction between the selected and unselected areas. I then played a little with the smudge tool so as to blur the stems a little, patched and cloned a bit on the grass stem and did a final blur and darken on the BG. It may be odd technique and my partner thinks it is horrendous and prefers yours, but I hope it is to some people's taste :) |
