-Used dodge tool to brighten up head, thorax and wing.
-Used burn tool to add contrast
-Brightened with levels
-Added more contrast
-Sharpened with unsharp mask

Added Contrast +10, and sharpened using unsharp mask tool with settings; Amount 150%, Radius .3 pixels, Threshold 0. The process bightened the image a bit IMHO.

I reduced the saturation a bit, sorry Joey, because I think this looks more natural. Then I reduced the brightness to show more detail in the veins, upping the contrast a little. This carries a little more of the feel of male pomona specimens I have seen in the wild.

I used the "Shadow/Highlight menu to lighten the wasp up. Due to differences in screen luminosity of tifferent computers the result may or may not be better. What is your feeling?
