I used PS CS2 and the shadows & highlights tool to get some light on the subject. Shadow setting was 50% and highlights 0%
Please let me know what you think.
Kind regards

(11585) [2006-10-04 03:45:09] [6] | Hi Hester,
I found this post in the forum interesting. I have to agree Claudine and Adrian. Yours have a green cast and Nigel's have a red cast.
I used levels in Photoshop CS2 then selected a black point (the eye) and white point (the head of the left deer) to remove the casts.
I also noticed that your photo was not assigned to a specific colorspace. You can read up on the topic here:

Please let me know what you think of my workshop in this regard.
Kind regards

(11585) [2006-06-09 07:33:02] | Hi Pam,
At first all I wanted to do was to use selective reduction of the highlighted areas in the frame which I did. The I adjusted the contrasts a bit by using curves and lastly just added a little saturation.
Kind regards

(11585) [2006-01-15 16:38:22] [8] | Hi Callie,
I just read an article in outdoor photographer regarding getting the details out of the shadows. I tried my hand at it and it seems to work. What do you think?
I adjusted the levels, used shadows & highlights (+10) and then color balance (Mid, Blue-10, Higlights, Blue -10, Shadows Blue -10) Reduced noise using neatimage and then sharpened a little.
Please let me know what you think.
Regards
