It's a big pile of weeds. You can see the snake's head right square in the center. If you didn't know it was there, you'd probably never see it.

The cicada wings are blurred as it attempted to throw off the ants and get airborn. The ants never gave up. They kept charging back and attacking. I started to intervene for the cicada, but it wasn't my business.

I used Adobe Photoshop CS3's patch tool to remove the electric fence on your GREAT elephant image.
I circled the fence (a bit at a time) and dragged it to an area that didn't have a fence which replaced it. You'll probablt have to try it to understand it. I used this tool to remove an electric fence on my Elephant
photograph in my gallery.

I adjusted brightness -10
Then exposure -.07 and -1.10 Gamma.
You post is fine. I just wanted to show that with a slight change, more color and detail is revealed here in the wings..

Selective Sharpening

I'm doing these workshops backwards somehow, but this is the original image.

Using PS Elements, I created a "Duplicate Layer" called Top. Then using "Unsharp Mask", I over- sharpened the Bottom layer. It would have been unacceptable because of overall distortion.

Using the "Eraser Tool", I erased the Top layer over the little jet's fuzzy nose revealing the sharp nose underneath in the Bottom layer. Presto, it was sharp. By reducing the size of the Eraser brush I was even able to sharpen the proboscus. Or should I say the little jet's nose gear. :-)

Doing "Layer Flatten" recombined the two layers.

This was very easy and very effective.

Selected just the b-fly and b-fly bush. Feathered the edge at 2 pixels. Blur>average, then blur>stylize>solarize..
