1) increased saturation
2) brightened with curves tool
3) played a bit with color balance. the image ssemed to be have a bit of a yellow green tint.
4) used levels to make the dark regions darker while maintaining the same midtones and highlights.
I posted this just to show the scale of the rock sculptures in Arches Park. If you look to the center foreground you will see people on a hiking trail! I really like Stephen's photo but it is even more grand when one realizes the size!
