| Intro: | I love taking pictures, although I am just starting to be able to get images out of my old Olympus OM-1. I use an old Sekonic light meter so I am always learning from a new challenge. I have enjoyed viewing photos on Trek Earth, Trek Lens and now Trek Nature and have learned a great deal from the images, notes and critiques. Being challenged by a powerful image is a rewarding experience. Being awed by a beautiful photo is divine. Thank you to all who post your work and offer advice. This is a valuable forum and I am very happy to be a part of it. I live in Arizona and never tire of the opportunities for a good shot. My interest in photography started with my journey to Turkey, Egypt and Israel. Before the trip I pulled out my dusty Olympus and started learning how to use it. Over the past two years I have worked to improve my skills but I try not to take myself too seriously. I welcome any advice offered. I thank you in advance for your time and care. Jill |
