I increased the brightness/contrast +20/+10 and then played with the highlight/midtone/shadows levels. I hope you don't mind, it really is a wonderful summer photo.

I wanted to see if I could brighten up your osprey in photoshop a bit. I selected out all the bird using the magic wand, then made a new adjustment layer and played with the brightness and contrast. Then I merged all the layers together, increased the contrast again and used sharpen on the whole. I hope you don't mind, I had fun "playing" with such a nice photo.

I just wanted to brighten the background a bit, so I increased the brightness and contrast, then did the clarify tool at 2.0, then used the noise reduction tool to make the background a bit more blurry. Then I used USM 25%. I wish I could get a chance to see such a lovely bird!

I tried cropping the photo to use the "rule of thirds" 2/3 sky and 1/3 water, and also to place the sun slightly off center. I cloned a portion of the building out of the water in the right corner, then played with brightness and contrast, used the leveling tool, noise reduction, sharpened and added borders. I hope you like the result and just to show a differet way to show off your lovely photo.

I increased the brightness and contrast +10 and +5, then used the clarify tool at 2.0 setting. Then I sharpened the whole. I'm not sure if I like my result or not, but it was fun to do, I hope you don't mind.
