| Intro: | In the words of Humphry Bogart, "Here's lookin' at you, Kid." As long as I can remember, cameras have been a part of my life, first as subject and then as photographer. I started with point and shoot cameras, then a Pentax SLR and now my four digital cameras, an evolution. And my eye for a photo has evolved, too. This is the first time I've ever shown anyone but my long-suffering family any of my photos, so beware, you are warned, I am an amateur of photography in the original sense of the word. 8 May 2006 I apologize for not posting this sooner, but a collision of the demands of work and my personal life have made it impossible for me to post on all of the Trek photo sites and respond to input in a timely manner. I can manage only one and have decided that one should be Treklens as it is the most flexible about which images it will accept. This is not an easy decision to make as I enjoy the community here, but goodbye is not forever, I will be back when I have more leisure. | |
