| Intro: | Hi! My name is Mitja and I live in a small country in the middle of Europe. In Slovenia we have a little bit of everything, some 40 kms of coastline, mountains, hills and plains, forests and also highly inhabited areas. Wildlife is scarce but there are other oportunities to enjoy in, like insects, common birds, deer, various landscapes and if one is patient the chances are virtually unlimited. Photography is a great oportunity to get closer to the nature especially if combined with family activities. I have two small kids and we all really enjoy nature as a great playground. Almost unlimited in the past but today much reduced we should all be concerned about our mother nature. I think photographs of beautiful places on our planet, our unbelievable wildlife and our nature diversity should result in love, appreciation and concern for our environment. |
