I used smart-sharpen in Photoshop CS2, but an unsharp-mask would work just as well. I used an amount of 400% and a radius of 0.3 pixels.
then I did a very slight crop to enable me to add a simple frame and still be within the 800 pixels limit. I hope that this is useful for you.
