All I did was add a narrow line around the image so that the underexposed lower right corner wouldn't feel so heavy as it merged with thick black frame. I also sharpened the image and toned down the burned out area behind the tree.
Hello Alan,
I tried to correct the postprocessing "mistakes". I mainly used clone brush to cover the not entirely blurred places. I also sharpened the picture and add quite much contrast. I did it to make the colours stronger.
an attempt to brighten the physiage..woops..face..
some brightenig gamma and saturation..and a sharpen..
the frame i left...it does do something but i thought it was a bit broad and funereal for the expression shown
god bless

I used Selective Color to remove the red/yellow cast from the neutrals. Not as soft and pleasant a presentation as yours but different...and a good opportunity for me to practice pp!
gamma raised and contrast added..some saturation subsequently reduced and sharpened
its funny though i just prepared one for trek lens and did the opposite...softened it immensely and took out contrast...:|
