Correction of the red dominance | CeltickRanger
(6988) [2008-02-27 08:15:01] [2] | hello Lise
if i am not in mystake, a snow color image
has to be more blue tones than red tones
in your great image i noticed a dominance
of the red color tones, i wanted to do the color correction
with once again LEVELS my favorite tool in Photoshop
in LEVELS
my black points (shadows) are set at 95% of density of dot
my white points (highlights) are set at 5% of density of dot
i did a AUTO-LEVEL to your wonderful image
and Photoshop corrected the red dominance tones
now the snow was too more blue
(la neige était trop bleu)
so i went to
EDIT
FADE AUTO-COLOR
and i set the OPACITY at 50%
i kno you told me you dont have Photoshop
but the ones who have it, can go and try this workshop
merci

bringing contrast to the image | CeltickRanger
(6988) [2008-02-25 06:27:44] | hello Lise
in your lovely inflight shot composition
there is a lack of contrast
with the LEVELS of Photoshop,
my favorite tool i gived
a contrast to your image
in LEVELS
the black points or shadows are set at 95% of dot
the white points or the highlights are ste at 5% of dot
i gived a AUTO-LEVELS and gived contrast to the image
merci

composition | | nathan (44) [2008-02-11 19:05:08] [3] | this is an excellent photo, and this really is purely a personal preference and thought i would try this: enlarged canvas size, clone in background and cropped.
like i said, his is a very good photo already, some may agree the composition is already good and some not.
Personal preference this one. |

(19775) [2008-01-30 06:04:22] [4] | I thought it had an etheral quality the way you have it, but since others have tried workshops...I thought I would also give it a shot...I only changed contrast by 2 notches...then removed any noise which I had made by changing...no filters then made smaller by 4 pixels...enough to add a 2 pix black border/frame..

 Colours and Brightness | sandpiper2
(11475) [2008-01-30 02:22:01] [1] | In photoshop I adjusted the selective colours to make a blue that hopefully looks something like your winter sky when the sun is out. Then I adjust the brightness-16 and the contrst +18.
As I said, just having a bit of fun in photoshop, hope you don't mind.
