Correction of the red dominance

hello Lise

in your image there is a little bit
dominance of the red colours,

setting the black points (shadows)
at 90 to 95% of dot and setting the
white points (highlights) at 5 to 10% of dot
by a simple autolevel sometimes you can
do the colour correction, or chromatic correction

here is what i did by autolevels
and then i wen to

- Adjustmets
- Selective colour
- choose de Red colours
- and then i added 44% of black in the reds

but i saw that it was a little bit too much
i could do undo and restrart

i gived again a autolevel

in the image, in the background
there is no more dominance of red
and in the cardinals red plumage
adding some % of black it bring
more detail on his plumage

Allo Lise,

J'ai ajusté les courbes "curves" dans mon logiciel anglais et j'ai appliqué un peu plus de netteté avec la fonction USM (unsharp mask @ 129%) - J'ai aussi augmenté un tantinnet la saturation de couleurs. Merci!
