(9335) [2008-10-28 01:41:13] | | People don't realise how quick a lion can move. This guy was hanging out of his car while the lions were only ±10m away from him. If the lion suddenly attacks, there is no way that this person will make it safely back into his vehicle. The sad end might be a dead tourist and unfortunately it will mean that the lion will also be killed afterwards. |

These are wild animals that these people are dealing with and the only sure thing about this is that you can never know what to anticipate next from such animals. Anything unexpected can happen… |

(9335) [2008-09-04 16:25:44] [9] | Hi Ahmet
As I said, I just wanted to see if I could do something about the bright stones, but then I did a couple of other small adjustments as well.
Post Processing done:
1. Adjusted the "Shadow/Highlight" settings at the following values:-
-- Shadows:
-- Amount = 29%
-- Tonal width = 25%
-- Radius = 30px
-- Highlights:
-- Amount = 33%
-- Tonal width = 50%
-- Radius = 30px
-- Adjustments:
-- Colour correction = +20
-- Midtone contrast = -20
2. Saturation: +6
3. USM: Ammount = 80%, Radius = 3 & Threshold = 0.
4. Chose "Save for Web".
I hope you approve of the slight enhancement done.
Best regards

Just a quick "fun" workshop as I said. I resized the canvas size and cloned some additional area on to the right. Then I adjusted the "Levels", added some "Saturation" and sharpened it slightly with "USM".
Hope you approve of the processing done.

(9335) [2008-06-17 20:56:20] [5] | Hi Peter
At first I just wanted to experiment to see how much I can perk up on the overall colour tones of the photo. Once I started fiddling I've gone a bit further by adjusting the "Levels", increased the "Contrast" +6, increased the "Saturation" +9, adjusted the "Shadow/Highlight", and finally I tweaked the "USM" (unsharp masking) by 150% at 0.3 radius.
I hope you approve of the processing done.
Best regards

(9335) [2008-06-15 19:08:49] [4] | Hi Jennifer
At first I just wanted to experiment to see how much I can improve on the overall sharpness of the photo. Then I realised the "Levels" was not set, which I then adjusted. I also increased the "Contrast" +6, increased the "Saturation" +9, adjusted the "Shadow/Highlight" at considerably less than default, and finally I adjusted the "USM" (unsharp masking) by 300% at 0.3 radius.
I hope you approve of the processing done.
Best regards

(9335) [2008-06-12 19:44:52] [4] | Hi Akshay
I just wanted to counter the slight dullness due to the shade. In so doing I used the "Shadow/Highlight" tool at default settings and I adjusted the "Levels" a wee bit. Then I removed the slight noise in the BG with "NeatImage", also at default settings, and I applied a bit of "USM" just to counter the adjust made and to bring the sharpness back to the details. I should have addressed the sunny area that became a bit too "lightened" in the BG, but it is too late to cry over spilled milk (chuckle).
I hope you approve of the optimisation done.

(9335) [2008-06-06 09:02:18] [5] | Hi James
Primarily this was done just to add a bit of sky in front of the eagle, but then I got a bit of an urge and played around with some of the other settings.
I made a slight adjustment to the "Levels" by making the photo a little darker in order to gain some exposure on the white tail. Then I applied the "Shadows/Highlight" tool mostly at default setting, but I adjusted the white slider to 50% darkness. This made the sky a bit too dark perhaps, but I'm not sure the sky might normally look at this location. Finally I gave it a wee bit of "USM" just to overcome the unsharpening effect that the optimisation had on the photo.
I hope you approve of the post processing.
Best regards
