| Intro: | Born in the United States, Michael Morrissey is one of a growing number of people who are discovering the delights of photography later in life, and who find their delight enhanced by the ever-widening range of equipment on offer with which to pursue their delight. Based in Bangkok, Thailand Michael got hooked on photography while driving a bus from Istanbul to Katmandu in the 70’s; interrupted with a twenty year career in business. He is interest in photography grew out of an interest for exploring cultures and communicating with people. The culture and travel photography he is most interested in focuses showing people of different cultures and their environment, as well as an expression of some of the moments he has had while traveling. He loves to take portraits of people when they least expect it. He appreciates hearing from people who have viewed his work.
