| Intro: | I've worked for the Fish and Wildlife Service for the past 5 years and in that time, I've seen some pretty amazing things. Before I took this job I never knew there were bald eagles in Michigan; I had never seen a wild turkey or a porcupine. And I was amazed the first time I saw a beaver. Eventually I realized that I needed a decent camera to capture what I was seeing and purchased a Canon Rebel XT. That was the best purchase I ever made. I fooled around with the camera for nearly 2 years before discovering that the auto settings were sorely lacking and i set out to learn how to use the camera properly. So, I did some research, purchased a polarizing filter and started saving for a tripod. In the past year, I've picked up a very good book on digital photography and began exploring just what my camera was capable of doing. The photos I've posted here are some of the best I've taken. I welcome criticism that'll improve my photos. |
