(758) [2008-02-02 10:42:27] [2] | Hi Penny
I hope this workshop doesn't bother you.I think with a little bit edition the shot become better.
First, I crop top of image and then went to saturation and add 3+ saturation and after that I sharpen whole image one level. then choose yellow color and -4 and red one and -3. this helps to decrease any warm color. Then:
+5 saturation
+2 Hue
+6 Contrast
+2 Brightness
After this select the head of bird and one level sharpened. Then:
+3 Contrast
For avoiding any noise, choose noise reduction and put strangth on 10 and:
Preserve details: 45%
color noise reduction: 30%
Sharpen detail: 35%
I hope you like it. Let me know your idea.
Best Regards
Babak |

(4086) [2007-12-19 21:13:24] [3] | Hi Penny,
this workshop of your wonderful photo was created by using the rgb curve and pulling down slightly at opposite ends net I sharpened it up some and that was it.When photoing wildlife or anything else it is better to slightly under expose the subject say -1/3ev from what is considered the correct exposure because it can be made to look very good and a photo over exposed is harder to deal with, sometimes impossible.Only slightly under expose however or there could be noticeable graininess to your corrected image.I hope this is of some use,Penny. (4086) [2007-10-22 17:57:53] | | Hi Penny this is my take on this photo.I tried to adjust the contrast so those rocks the bird is on are not so bright and I focused up the image as well.I hope you find this attempt to be useful. Bob |

(4086) [2007-08-30 21:54:33] [2] | | How a picture looks is somewhat subjective but I think that this workshop I did for you might show you what I mean. The rock the bird is sitting on looks a little over bright so I darken the image a little, brought up the contrast some, removed some of the background noise.Doing these things made the picture file too large to post so I had to reduce the file size and as a result had to tweak the focus to make it look right.
