| Intro: | I work for the Canadian Coast Guard as a quartermaster and for my leisure during long winter patrols and summer arctic trips, I take photos of whatever I can. Since buying a digital camera I have expanded on the amount of pictures taken during a season, I have gone from 200 or so pictures with film to over 3000 with digital. Most places I travel to are quite desolate and far from the beaten path, but occasionaly I get a shot of some pretty spectacular animals that live in an area that is just unhospitable.
