Crop, Clone, Levels, Curves | AdrianW
(710) [2005-07-03 19:35:02] [1] | Cropped some of the top of the image to frame more tightly on the owl.
Used a soft-edged CloneTool to fill in the bright area in the background at the top of the frame. Picked up from the area to right of the bird.
Used Levels to correct the brightness - moved the top marker down to hit the top end of the histogram.
Finally used Curves to add a bit more punch to the image - two points, one low quarter, one high quarter - moved the high point towards the top left to increase brightness in the brighter areas.
I hope you like it :) |

(28875) [2005-06-28 07:13:11] [8] | Hi Sam.
I dare to do a WS of your picture.
I correct the levels and use the tool shadows/highlights to get light and contrast. Sharped it with USM, my standard settings, 300% amount, 0,3 pixels radius and finally I use the crop tool.
I hope you like it.
