Hello Howard

I did a simple workshop using Picasa (basic). I used the autocontrast function to add a little brightness overall and make the bird standout againt the BG. I also added a little color temperature to what seemed like a cold picture overall. I hope I didnt modify too much the original environment in which the picture was captured and that you like it!

I did a very simple WS using Picasa (basic edition). I used the auto contrast features, which I believe brought out the colors a little better and increased the sharpness by one level. I hope you dont mind and you like the results.

I found the overall scene a little dark and the bird blended into the background too much. I used the auto contrast feature in Picasa2 to help brighten the picture and make the bird stand out a little more.

Recropped as Pablo suggested. I cropped some of the empty space on the left to 'create' more space where the stork is facing. I also cropped a little on the top and bottom to keep the dimensions relatively unchanged.

I cropped a little to reduce some distracting foreground and adjusted the white balance a little to make the colors warmer (the whites looked a little blue in the original). Hope you like it!
