(754) [2005-10-04 04:53:20] [4] | Hello Pieter,
As stated in my critique I now got the chance to upload my try at enhancing the background. The forground was left untouched by use of a layer.
Best regards, Mike |

(18648) [2005-08-29 01:37:44] [1] | Hi Pieter, I have cropped the photo to have bunny mostand out more in teh scene. I auto colour contrasted and clarified it to lighten it. I also saved it to 800 wide again, which I realise I shouldn't have but too late, so I put it through Noiseware Std Edition. I hope you like it.
Cheers

(2009) [2005-06-19 02:53:13] [3] [+] | Hi there :)
I loved the shot, but was curios to see what it looks like with a different crop. I cropped a bit from the left to move the eye more off-centre. I then cropped on the right to add some more space in front of him. Added a white border with a green line, and this is the result. Please dont take offence ;) It also seem to lighten it up a bit i guess. What do you think ?

So, just a crop.

 Auto-levels! | flagman
(2396) [2005-03-24 10:55:39] [3] | Hey, Pieter, I can't believe you didn't think there was too much blue/cyan in the photo! I've just done 'auto-levels' in photoshop (you'll have photoshop elements with your 350D which has the same feature) and it corrected the colour cast. Took 10 seconds.

 Use of layers | Alan_Kolnik
(1137) [2005-03-18 15:08:25] [6] | | I traced around the swan's head using the magnetic lassoo tool set on 2/2/10%/77 and copied the result into a new layer. Then used levels and contrast to set brighten the swan up a bit without affecting the background. I made the swan a little browner - perhaps this is not right. |

 Nest | sAner
(4744) [2005-03-11 05:54:04] | | Here you can see the nest. Because farmers removed all trees in the past and it takes a while to regrow them and because Hoiho's won't lay Eggs without 100% privacy, local parties were forced to build these 'houses'. When the trees are regrown, the houses will be removed. All penguins are 100% free, I can't stress that enough. |
