Using PSE4 I sharpened a click, lowered brightness 10 and upped contrast 10 to compare.
Deffinately saturated the color.

Bushtit Nest

As you can see, the nest is very unassuming. No one walking past would give it a second look, or suspect that it might contain eggs or baby birds. I plan to go back occasionally to monitor this spot, and hopefully I will be lucky enough to see the fledgelings before they fly away.

I work with levels, contrast, and sharpness tools, after move colour balance to add blue shades, and then reduce noise.

This one shows the Pipsissewa in its natural environment. I had heard of the plant many times, but this was the first time I had ever seen one, in a small patch of forest beside the Taylor River that was a treasure trove of unusual species. This is the same area where I found the Pine Sap I posted yesterday, also a first sighting for me.
