Gannu, I used Color balance option in Gimp to reduce Blues. Then I reduced the brightness a bit.

Dear Amar, I have adjusted the highlights using curves in Photoshop. This will reduce the burn-outs in the image.

Tried to correct color balance by reducing blue heavily in shadow, slightly in mid tones and slightly in highlight using Adobe Photoshot.

Wing Lee,

I cropped your picture a bit (to remove the leaves that are distracting attention), reduced the brightness 10% and increased contrast 15%.

Hope you like this.

Dear Amar,

I did minor exposure adjustments to your beautiful butterfly picture that appeared over exposed. I used Gimp to reduce the brightness by 60 points and increase contrast by 30 points. This cut down the overexposed parts while enhancing color saturation on the butterfly. I also ran Unsharp Mask to sharpen by 0.40 value around a radius of 3.

Amar,

I have adjusted the contrast a bit and applied moderate sharpening to make the butterfly look prominent. You lost some contrast probably due to light falling on the lens.

I cropped the picture to move the point of interest, the bee to top right intersection. I then sharpened the picture a bit, reduced the image brightness a bit and increased the contrast a bit.

Hi Everyone,

I posted this workshop to show how close we could get to he bird. I could not get a wider view in this picture with my fixed focal 180mm hat I had on my camera at that moment. You can see the 100-300 Sigma lens and a part of Satish's head at the left bottom corner. The beautiful Indian Roller is striking a pose on a perch at the top right corner.
