I found that primarily the sharpness CAN be improved, so increased it. Then the region above the fly was a bit washed out, so adjusted shadow/highlights to bring the details out. Then finally removed some specks. Hope you like the end result.

I have taken the liberty of doing a workshop on your picture, hope you don't mind it. What I have done is to sharpen the pic, reduce noise, select the BG using magic wand and reduce contrast and increase the colour saturation a LITTLE :-).
