Adjusted the gamma (turned it down slightly), the shadow/highlights (reduced the highlights and brought out the shadows a bit... seen in the body), reduced color saturation... (reds, yellows, and magenta) and sharpened it just a tad.

Just my way of doing things... hope you like. :)

I took the liberty of doing a workshop here for myself more than anything. I really like blue flowers but I think the subtle purple here needed enhanced too. I also desaturated the green BG a little too. The blue was, for me, a bit too saturated and left a slight muddy (or dreamy) appearance... depending on your POV. Perhaps my WS is not what you were after... we all see differently, but I hope you like.

First I adjusted the shadow/highlights to bring out the wonderful foreground flowers while at the same time darkening the clouds a bit. Then I adjusted the exposure diminishing the overall gamma. In making those adjustments the result tends to over saturate the colors so I cut back on the saturation while maintaining the brightness/contrast I desired. I then added a warming color filter to further enhance the effect you may have remembered as a child... I too remember walking in a meadow as a child just as the sun as descending in the sky. Since turning this image into a horizontal format was not an option without losing the combined effect of the sky and the field, I opted to make it even more of a vertical... sorry about eliminating your last name in the copyright... please forgive me. Hope you like my "inner eye" vision.

I love the different forms and colors of this grouping of fungi. Just needed a bit of brightening without over saturating the colors... but that is just the way I see it. Hope you like the changes.

Hope you don't mind... I took the liberty to lighten the head of your beautiful shot of the Great Tit. I selectively lightened the head, added a tiny, very little, bit of gamma, contrast, and sharpening overall. Hope you like it.
