following some advice and the experience i
gathered over the last months i did my own ws:
- auto contrast
- sharpen
- crop
- shadow/highlight (8/2)
- contrast +4
- saturation +4
- framed, save for web.
as this was the original shot with the actual size - no cropping done - i had to add some more black on the top in order to give the moon a bit more space.
different take on this very nice shot. all work in photoshop
1) used levels to darken low end and lighten high end
2) increased saturation
3) used magic wand to select white backround
4) inverted selection
5) sharpened using focus magic a plugin, could have used smart sharpen. helped with the eye
6) selected the shadow on the ground from the dragofly using magic wand
7) used levels to darken the shadow so it stands out more.
