This makes the harsh flash less obvious I think. At last i decreased the saturation as the shadows function increased the colors a bit.

(413) [2005-04-01 12:50:21] | I felt that the picture was quite flat and lifeless so I first used the shadow/highlight in photoshop CS to remove some of the "foginess" in the picture. Then I added some contrast and desaturated a little and finally unsharp mask.
One tip is that when you decrease the size of a picture to fit on TN it is almost always necessary to add some sharpness to keep the sharpnes of the original sized picture.
